Early Retirement
How to retire early should be the title of this article and I guess at age 40 I am lucky to have accomplished all I have and living life on my own terms without worrying about those common things that people worry about these days. I wish I could say there is an easy way to attain this life of leisure or some sure way to make millions and retire without a care. There is not.
In fact, I worked in my own business since age 12 and built a huge company, sold it and cashed out. But as fairy-tale-ish as that may sound it was not easy, as once I got out of college with only a couple of 2-year degrees, I literally worked 17 hours a day, seven days a week for 18-years or more, no kidding. Even today, I am retired, but still work hard at my hobbies and endeavors, it kind of gets into ones blood.
So, to answer your question; How do you retire early? Well, you work hard and smart and you think, plan and strategize along the way. You do not go blow your money and you keep your body and mind healthy. You do not over indulge or wastefully spend and you do not charge credit cards or borrow money unless that money can in fact make you much more. You never borrow more than you need.
Even after all that you must still work your butt off, because there is no easy way. And I am glad you are the benefit of one of my hobbies as a retired entrepreneur turned hobby writer amongst other things like flying, travel and enjoying great food, good company and a good book now and again. If your goal is to retire early, then you must work hard and never give up.
